Available on 7" for the first time, Webby Jay's 1979 version of The Dramatics soul hit, 'In The Rain'. Produced and sung by the late Webster Johnson aka Webby Jay,

renowned session player and keyboardist for reggae band Matumbi. Joining the group in 1977 and remaining a member until it disbanded in 1982, Johnson played on most of their five studio albums including the 1978 debut, Seven Seals.

On release, 'In The Rain' was a hit on the UK reggae charts and is equally sought after for the dub version - Backed by 'Rain Unlimited' on the flip, both tracks have been cut from the Arawak master tapes for this long overdue 45 issue.
