When it is about art and music we are  fascinated by unexpected sweet spot combinations: When traditional  concepts meet new ideas, when darkness meets light, when rough meets the  smooth.Here at 45Seven Unlimited we enjoy our sweet and  salty popcorn and we are always looking for exciting new blends that  inject modern beats and basses into a half century of Dub history. with  this double A side by Rainforest.

Bullet Riddim sets the pace for this plate with a  nicely syncopated yet rolling groove with deep skanks, playful bass and  some delicious drum switching. "My selectah is here to suit your heart  desire ... and set your soul on fire" proclaims the vocal chop  throughout the intro. And he is not wrong: Bullet is a rollercoaster of  Jungle breaks, dubbed out Reggae horns, skanks and FX. Truly a "riddim  so nice you gotta play it twice". [...]

Rainforest is transmitting from Mexico, has got a  strong graffiti background and releases Drum & Bass music on labels  like Shoot, Omni, Absys, Syhda, Monochrome and his own Breakbeat  Rebelz. Known for the brilliant Jungle Is Our Dub 7" on 45Seven in 2016  which was almost label defining already, this new plate is even about to  run them all out again. "Pull it up"!
